Geotechnical Engineering Division (GED ) is a unique specialist geotechnical consultancy division in NBRO. GED is accredited for a wide range of field and laboratory soil tests. Except that we undertake geotechnical works such as slope stabilization, retaining wall designing, drainage system designs, borehole investigation, preparation of geotechnical reports, etc….

Experienced professional Engineers and Geologists, Technicians, Supervisors and Operators are the strength of GED and currently employ a workforce of about 60 people. Highly motivated and dedicated staff always set to providing a quick and efficient service to our clients. We maintain an office with professionals and a lab with Extensive laboratory facilities with laboratory experts. GED owns, operates and maintains a wide range of equipment including Rock drilling machines, GDS, vane shear testing machines, triaxial, consolidation, direct shear, etc….

Our vast experience in Geotechnical Engineering enables us to consult our clients with the most effective manner. Our knowledge about soil condition of each part of Sri Lanka allows us to give early recommendations to our clients.
