Presently a Cabinet approved Interim Management Committee (IMC) with Secretary of the line ministry as the Chairman guides and directs the administrative, financial and management functions of NBRO. The Chief Executive Officer of the institution is the Director General and NBRO is operated under seven subject areas.

The present organizational structure of the organization has been assessed in terms of its compatibility with the corporate profile and the corporate strategy, compatibility with the outputs of the organization’s different divisions, hierarchical levels, coordination among its divisions, centralization or decentralization of authority, grouping of activities and communication.
