(PMD)
Introduction
As a major Technical
Division of the NBRO, today the Project Management Division has
transformed into a major public sector consultancy unit in the
country. It has a team of very efficient and experienced
professional & technical staff to provide a wide range of
consultancy services related to building projects such as
architectural work, structural engineering work, quantity surveying
work electro-mechanical engineering work, contract administration,
project management, etc.
The PMD is well-equipped
with modern computer facilities and all other necessary resources to
identify client's needs and undertake formulation of client's needs,
conceptual planning and design, estimation, cost planning, final
designs and estimates, contract documents, calling for tenders,
supervision & quality control during construction and project
management, etc.
The other activities include;
- Investigations on structural safety of existing
structures
- Advice on architectural and other specialised services
on improvements to existing work
- Rationalization of current design practices to suit
local conditions
