The quality of air you breathe is very important since exposure to the air polluted by man-made activities could be highly risky to your health. According to the World Health Organisation, every year 4.2 million people die due to the inhalation of polluted ambient air while about 3.8 million people die due to the inhalation of contaminated indoor air. Also, exposure to polluted air could weaken your respiratory system and may cause respiratory diseases. Therefore, testing of the quality of air you are exposed to inside the office, house, vehicle or outdoor environment is very important to identify the risk involved with your health. National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has developed a low-cost continuous real-time air quality monitoring instrument by utilizing advanced sensor technology with algorithms to accurately measure PM1, PM2.5, PM10, and CO2 in air. The devise is fully validated against beta attenuate technology for the dust measurement. Therefore, this portable and user-friendly devise is capable of producing accurate measurements for a low cost with minimum maintenance. With its light-weight design, it can be perfectly integrated into small spaces and the devise has inbuilt real-time data storage and transfer facilities. The digital display of the instrument directly display the present air quality levels and if required you can download the historical data using computer or view data through the website.

With this instrument, now you can keep track of the air quality around you by yourself at a nominal cost and will be introduced soon.
